Mexico Beach

Mexico Beach is a small Gulf-front city in Bay County east of Panama City and close to the Gulf County line.

The community was heavily affected by Hurricane Michael in 2018, and the rebuilding that followed means buyers will encounter a mix of newer construction, rebuilt properties, vacant lots and established homes.

Mexico Beach is physically and commercially different from Panama City Beach despite sharing Bay County.

Buyers should pay particular attention to current building standards, flood information, insurance, elevation, rental regulations and the construction history of the individual property.
